Microbiological activities in the composting process : A review

چکیده
Composting is a technological process of waste management that is, with the help microbiological activities in aerobic conditions, organic material decomposed and stabilized into biodegradable mixture transformed compost. This decomposition matter has recently attracted lot attention due to its environmentally friendly methods which additional environmental pollution avoided. The composting follows four phases (first mesophilic phase, thermophilic second maturation phase). most important factors influencing success are C/N ratio, humidity, temperature, substrate particle size, pH, oxygen content microorganisms. Microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, actinomycetes act chemical decomposers carbon dioxide, heat, water, hummus, relatively stable final product - In composting, microorganisms decompose complex molecules lignin, cellulose, hemicellulose. presence different types influenced by composition composite mixtures changes temperature through process. At beginning compression, microbial activity increases significantly, causes rise. initial dominance bacteria replaced fungi active compost maturation. This scientific paper aims present an overview role beneficial mixture.

The Process and Pathogen Behavior in Composting: A Review
Composting is defined as the biological decomposition and stabilization of organic substrates under aerobic conditions to allow the development of thermophilic temperatures. This thermophilic temperature is a result of biologically produced heat. Composting produces the final product which is sufficiently stable for storage and application to land without adverse environmental effects. There ar...
متن کاملMathematical modelling of the composting process: a review.
In this paper mathematical models of the composting process are examined and their performance evaluated. Mathematical models of the composting process have been derived from both energy and mass balance considerations, with solutions typically derived in time, and in some cases, spatially. Both lumped and distributed parameter models have been reported, with lumped parameter models presently p...
متن کاملon the teacher-generated v.s. leaner-generated noticing-the-gap activities in language classes
abstract the purpose of this study is twofold: on the one hand, it is intended to see what kind of noticing-the –gap activity (teacher generated vs. learner generated) is more efficient in teaching l2 grammar in classroom language learning. on the other hand, it is an attempt to determine which approach of the noticing-the-gap- activity is more effective in the long- term retention of grammar...
Getting The Right Mix –Composting From The Microbiological Viewpoint
By definition a compost is a ‘made mixture’, with manure a common raw material. The aim of composting is to fuel the activity of micro-organisms by providing a source of organic carbon, to transform nutrients from the inorganic to the organic form. “Organic” implies that nutrients are locked up as components of cells. In the process of microbial growth, complex organic compounds are broken down...
متن کاملThe use of respiration indices in the composting process: a review.
Respiration is directly related to the metabolic activity of a microbial population. Micro-organisms respire at higher rates in the presence of large amounts of bioavailable organic matter while respiration rate is slower if this type of material is scarce. In the composting process respiration activity has become an important parameter for the determination of the stability of compost. It is a...
